Musk Announces Major AI Upgrade: Grok to Process the Entire X Platform

Elon Musk has revealed a significant upcoming update for the Grok AI system, announcing that as early as next month the neural network will be able to process the entire volume of content generated on X. This includes approximately 100 million posts per day, covering text, images, and video materials. According to Musk, Grok’s new architecture will not depend on an account’s follower count, popularity, or engagement metrics. Instead, it will evaluate each post based on its quality, originality, and informational value.

Industry analysts note that this update could dramatically shift the dynamics of content distribution. Current studies of recommendation algorithms show that over 63% of content visibility on major platforms is influenced by account size, while only 27% depends on semantic quality. Musk claims Grok’s new model aims to reverse this proportion, pushing high-quality content upward regardless of the creator’s digital footprint.

The update is powered by xAI’s advanced models and a large-scale GPU infrastructure. According to internal estimates, Grok’s new processing pipeline will operate on more than 20,000 high-performance GPUs, allowing the system to analyze multimodal content in real time and deliver more diverse and unbiased recommendations.

Experts predict that users may see up to a 40% improvement in feed personalization accuracy, along with a noticeable increase in content variety across niche subjects. This aligns with Musk’s broader vision for X — transforming the platform into a universal information hub driven by transparent and intelligent AI systems.

Since acquiring Twitter for $44 billion in October 2022 and rebranding it to X in 2023, Musk has restructured nearly every department of the company and launched xAI, the developer of Grok. The upcoming update marks one of the most ambitious technological shifts in the platform’s history.
